A CNCF project for building distributed applications from WebAssembly components using a capability-based actor model.
wasmCloud is a CNCF sandbox project that provides a distributed application platform built entirely on WebAssembly components and the WASI Component Model. Applications are expressed as actors (stateless Wasm components) connected to capability providers (database drivers, HTTP clients, message brokers) through a lattice — a self-healing, distributed mesh. wasmCloud runs on any infrastructure: bare metal, Kubernetes, cloud VMs, or edge devices, and actors migrate between nodes transparently. It is designed for organizations that want the portability of Wasm combined with the operational properties of a service mesh.
An open-source framework for building and running event-driven serverless applications using WebAssembly.
